Very interesting. Fossil fuels still make a lot more sense for the foreseeable future, though.

Subject: Eagles (and other birds and bats) and Wind Turbines
Following up on the eagles and turbines discussion, there is an article in the Winter 216-2017 Bird Conservation that describes an entirely new type of turbine, called Invelox, that can be guarded. The designers, a company called SheerWind, say the new design is more expensive up front but produces two and a half to three times the energy as a traditional turbine.
A further problem with traditional turbines is they kill a lot of bats as well as birds.
