Thanks for the info, everyone The feeder is in a relatively protected place and hasn't been swaying much so I haven't taken it down. I've seen two hummingbirds chasing each other around the feeder but they both look identical so it could be more, I just can't tell the difference, but I have seen two at the same time here. They aren't brightly colored so I assume they are female. They look well fed and there's one at the feeder every 20-40 minutes. When the temps drop near freezing I take the feeder in at night and I have a second feeder that I can swap out throughout the day so that there's always a liquid feeder available.
