Paul - There is some water in Swan Lake, and when there is, there are large
numbers of gulls spending the nights.
Also, the road into the boardwalk area has been recently graded.

I just had a first cycle Glaucous-winged Gull (or similar looking hybrid; I
didn't get great looks) flying around Virginia Lake with a large flock of
gulls, then they all left due to some remote control speed boats on the
water. Presumably the bird will end up at Sparks Marina for the night
(unless there's a roosting flock elsewhere neat Reno?) if anyone was
interested in chasing it.
