Emma and I found an adult male Red-naped Sapsucker today at Carson River
Park. It was in the Russian Olives to the right side of the trail past the
low area, right across from the only Pinion tree near to the trail. I have
put several pictures on eBird. In the same area were a Golden-crowned
Sparrow and three Townsend's Solitaires.
Also, there has been a male Wood Duck, female Northern Pintail, and Common
Merganser at Ross Gold Park (in southern Carson City) recently.
