Billy and I set off on our regular tour. We got our first activity at the
end of the swimming pool - 2 evening grosbeaks bathing,
a Lewis's woodpecker and a pair of Cassin's finches. Fantastic!
However, as sometimes happens in birding, not another noteworthy bird for
the rest of the walk. A nice show down between a sharp-shinned and a much
larger coopers (the sharp-shined quickly figured out who was boss). Less
than 20 species in all.
