This morning the overcast weather dropped a few migrants in our Fernley
backyard. In addition to a white striped form of the White-throated Sparrow,
there were at least 3 Ruby-crowned Kinglets, a Gray-flycatcher (our first of
the season), an Orange-crowned Warbler and a beautiful singing male
Townsend's Warbler. The Townsend's Warbler was first seen yesterday.
