I just returned from Lemmon Valley. At the water treatment ponds, there were 0 Cliff Swallows cruising over the ponds. The pair of Barrow's Goldeneye continued. A walk around to the back side of the ponds revealed about 30 Redheads, 2 Canvasbacks, 2 Lesser Scaup, 9 Cinnamon Teal, 4 Common Goldeneyes, and lots of Mallards, Gadwalls, Ruddy Ducks, Northern Shovelers, American Wigeon, Green-winged Teal, and American Coots.
I drove around to the east side of Swan Lake and set up my scope. There was a Snow Goose on the shore directly below me, and at least 2,000 ducks on the playa (no swans, though). I saw at least 600 Northern Pintail, and maybe over 1,000. Many of them were too far to the north to scope. Also 200-300 gulls, 150 or so Canada Geese, and a pair of American Avocets.
