In the late 1990s I worked with a software engineer named Bill Bonham. I had spent some time at Bonham Ranch and asked him if he had ever heard of it. "I was raised on it," he replied. Among other things he related about ranch life there was that they raised Chukar. If you peek into one of the warm ponds there you should see some Tilapia fish living. There are a lot of Cottontails and Jackrabbits. The ranch was abandoned in 1964, about the time Bill graduated high school. If you look at some maps, the edge of the Pyramid Lake Reservation makes a little jog around the ranch site.
