The Bristlecone Audubon is hosting a camp-out at Ruby Lake National Wildlife Refuge. People will be arriving on Friday, June 15.
On Saturday June 16 there will be a short presentation on sparrow identification. The morning field trip will be to bird the pinyon- juniper areas of the refuge. The afternoon field trip will be to bird the marsh areas. There will be a potluck dinner that evening.
Sunday morning will start with a walk up Cave Creek look for song birds. This will be followed by a walk around Shantytown to bird and also check out the many wildflowers.
