Today my wife Erika, my daughter Rowan and I found a BROAD-WINGED HAWK at the Sage Hen Road trees in Dyer. I managed to get some decent photos of the bird as it flew out of the trees and circled a few times before heading west.
At the Abandoned Ranch there was an OVENBIRD and at Arlemont Ranch there was a NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH.
Later in the day at Millers Rest Stop, there was a female ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK (found by Vernon Howe).
There were hundreds of flycatchers everywhere with the majority being Western Wood-Pewees and Hammond's Flycatchers. There were lesser numbers of Gray, Dusky, Western and Olive-sided Flycatchers.
