The very small "L" pond just off Red Rock Road, probably less than an acre
in size, hosted seven species. A Northern Flicker was working the trees
around the pond, while on the pond were FOS Pied-billed Grebes, Northern
Sholvelers, Cinnamon Teal, Green-winged Teal, Mallard and Gadwalls. And, just last
week it was devoid of any birds.
Cheers, Bob Goodman
