This afternoon I saw my FOS LUCY'S WARBLER on Ash Meadows NWR. It was a
male which I was surprised to see was already busy collecting scraps of bark
to line its favorite cavity. It was fun to watch it pulling of scraps,
discarding them when they seemed too large for his liking, and saving the
smaller finer bits.
I drove by Crystal Reservoir long enough to see that the Lesser Black-backed
Gull was not present.
