I just saw what I think is the same juvenile female Northern Goshawk, on FR
19 between FR 70 and the trailhead for Boar's Nest/South Prong. This is
just where I've seen her twice before in the last couple of months.
Meanwhile, I've been trying to manage the flock of 250-300 Common Grackles
that have discovered the fat of my land. The smaller birds get no chance
when the grackles are here in numbers. This massing didn't take place till
August last year. And my siskin pair is still here, and I hope to see
little ones soon.
