Wood Duck (3M & 2 F on Pond 3 3/6)
American Wigeon (10 pond 4, 3/5)
Cinnamon Teal (23M & 15F counted 3/8)
Northern Pintail (50 on Pond 7 3/5)
Ruddy Duck (some males now have blue color on the bill)
American Avocet (1st arrived 3/5, 9 some in breeding plumage)
Least Sandpiper (16 on pond 9, 3/5)
Long-billed Dowitcher (arrived 3/4 now we have 5 on Pond 9)
California Gulls (4 Pond 9 3/7 & 8)
Herring Gulls (2 1st winter Pond 9 3/7 & 8)
Belted Kingfisher (1 seen on 3/7)
Cassin's Kingbird (1 seen near VC on 3/7)
Northern Rough-winged Swallow
Verdin (drinking sugar water from our hummingbird feeder)
Marsh Wren (lots singing)

DIRECTIONS: We are located east of Boulder Highway, off of Sunset Road in Henderson, Nevada.
From Las Vegas Blvd., go south to Sunset Road, take Sunset Road east, through the Boulder Highway interchange. Once on the east side of Boulder Highway you will see a blue sign with white lettering that says "Bird Viewing Preserve" with an arrow pointing to the left (north). Turn left on Moser, at the end of Moser make a right, then quick left at the gate, follow the instructions on the gate for entry.
From I 515 (US 93 & 95) go east on Sunset and follow the above directions.
